Doing the Dells

After church and breakfast in Madison we headed towards the Dells.  It was a really pretty drive.  We stopped for a quick lunch at Culvers, which started in Wisconsin, because we knew it would be better than the food at the theme park.  Then, we headed to Mt. Olympus.  Mt. Olympus is a water and theme park but since we knew we would be hitting up another water park we decided to focus on the roller coasters.
We all started out with Pegasus.  It didn't do much but definitely jerked you around a lot so that got Ella uninterested in riding anything any bigger.  So the boys headed off for a bigger coaster and I took Ella over to the kid rides.  Then the boys were ready to conquer Hades.  Hades is the big coaster at the park.  It reaches speeds of seventy miles per hour and goes through a completely dark tunnel under the parks parking lot to come out on the other side.  Ella rode the kids roller coaster many times and the boys had a great time on Hades.  Next it was my turn to ride a bigger coaster with Sam while John and Ella went back to Pegasus.  We were through with the heat and lines after that and decided to go check out our hotel.
Our hotel was nice.  I took Ella for a swim at the hotel pool while the boys relaxed,

then we headed to drive around the town and eat at Moosejaw Pizza.  The pizza was good and the atmosphere of the restaurant was a lot of fun.  It was a great first day in The Dells.

We loved the Moosejaw delivery cars.
