Baller

Sam spent a great deal of June in basketball camps.  He started off with a week of camp at Rock Bridge High School for seventh through ninth graders.  He complained the first day that it was too hard but he stuck with it and enjoyed it by the end of the week.  His ball handling skills improved a lot in just that weeks time.
The next camp he went to was at Fr. Tolton.  This camp was for sixth through eighth graders.  They did a lot of scrimmaging which Sam enjoyed and he made some new friends.  He was hoping to see five star athlete Michael Porter who plays for Tolton but I'm sure he was busy elsewhere.
The last camp was at Sam's school Gentry.  This was for boys who are planning to try out for the seventh grade team this fall.  Sam had a good time and worked hard to show that he wants to make the team.  Let's hope all his hard work pays off for him come tryouts.
