A Walk in the Park

When we got our first warm weekend of the year we decided to hit the trails at Rock Bridge State Park.  The park was packed with people so we decided to take one of the unpaved trails so we could enjoy some nature and not be crowded.  Well, we quickly found out why everyone was staying on the paved path.  The paths were super muddy, but we trekked on and had quite the adventure.  We had two locations where we had to cross streams.  While the weather had warmed up I can assure you that the water had not.  It was freezing going across the water but made for quite a memory afterward.  Sam slipped in the mud twice and I slipped once but luckily caught myself only getting my hand dirty.  We were quite a mess when it was all over but we had a wonderful time.
