The kids had a wonderful Easter. They started out looking for their baskets from the Easter bunny. It took some searching, and a little help from Mom, but they found them. They were very excited about the goodies inside.

Then we got all dressed up and off to Sunday mass. The mass was long but they both did very well. Then it was home for lunch, an egg hunt around the house, and lots of playing outside on a very beautiful day!

John's work has a family Easter Egg Hunt at the children's science center here in town. They hide eggs all over the center and the kids have a blast running around to find them all. Then there is time to enjoy the science center and pizza and cupcakes for dinner. The kids had a great time and came home with lots of loot!

Today we decorated our Easter Eggs! The kids had a great time and I think they could have easily decorated another dozen. Sam did all of his on his own this year while Ella mostly told her Daddy and I what she wanted us to do with her eggs. She did color on some but was happy to order us instead of dyeing her own. We all had a great time!

Soccer Season

Soccer has begun again. Sam is playing through the YMCA this Spring and has been enjoying himself. Last night his team, The Dragons, had their first game. Sam was goalie in the first quarter which makes me very nervous. He stopped a few shots and did not let the other team score! In fact the other team didn't score the whole game. Sam's team won 3-0. He was very excited! He played well and had a shot on goal but no scoring this game.
